Overnight Oatmeal In A Jar

If you prefer your oatmeal hot, it only takes a couple minutes to cook the rolled oats in the almond milk in the morning.  Once cooked you can still add to jar and top with almond butter, seeds and banana as directed. Still need a portable breakfast? Just cover with the lid and enjoy once you arrive at office/school.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup organic rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chia or flax seeds
  • 1/2 banana, sliced

Directions

  1. Pour oats and almond milk into half pint jar and let sit overnight
  2. Add cinnamon and chia seeds to oatmeal, mix until well blended
  3. Let sit overnight
  4. Top with almond butter & sliced banana when ready to eat or ready to pack to go
